Shouldn’t churches be giving their congregations money at this point? I’m serious. At the very least the faithful tithers on record should be getting financial support. People cannot pay for rent or food. People have lost their jobs. Kids are not being fed. I read how some pastors are trying to get people to send their stimulus money to the church. This infuriates me. I have a tenant who cannot pay full rent due to lay-off. She is paying what she can, which I totally understand. Help from her church would help out a lot. I will not evict her as long as she is paying something. However, after the courts reopen and resume evictions, we may not have a choice if she stops paying rent altogether. They’re saying 18 months before a vaccine is found. They’re also saying a vaccine may never be found, which has peaked my anxiety.
