Black lives haven't mattered for centuries now! This is a useless silly hashtag developed, financed and promoted by white demoncrats to help them win an election where most of the white electorate was in support of Trump. Which they did. #BLM #BLM bunch of sheeple clowns! No demand no solution! Black Power Matters! If we had Black Power none of this would be our issue. We have become a white label, a "race" of "blacks" supposedly orphaned in the world having no land mass connection like other ethnicities. We don't call Koreans, Japanese, Chinese, Latinos "yellows" denying them national identity, dignity, national identity and national pride. They wouldn't accept this either because they know who they are! We must redefine ourselves and force them to redefine who they became in the world after creating our incoherence. #blackcommunitycontrolofpolice! Demand and solution! #blackselfgovernance! Demand and solution! #blackpowermatters! No one in our community with a gun should be outside of our control. Black community control of police doesn't mean a black police chief or more black cops. Free people hate colonial capitalism so as free people it means whatever we develop and determine it to mean. The attack by Portugal in 1415 wasn't an attack of "whites" against "blacks" these terms weren't invented until after the 17th century. It was an attack by one pitifully poor starving nation on a nation of abundant wealth, Africa. This has occurred consistently for 600 years and created at least 3 empires that exploit tge poor working masses globally to generate the ginormous wealth that sustains this violent social system! Africans were forcibly separated at gunpoint and dispersed around the globe! The only difference between a black Brazilian, Jamaican, Bahamian, Puerto Rican, Bermudian or Amerkkkan is a boat stop. Malcolm said a cat can have kittens in an oven but that doesn't make them biscuits! We are Africans. Blackisbackcoalition.org

"The Space Between Black and White"

Illuminating her inner journey growing up mixed-race in Britain, Esua Jane Goldsmith's unique memoir exposes the isolation and ambiguities that often come with being 'an only'.

Raised in 1950s South London and Norfolk with a white, working-class family, Esua's education in racial politics was immediate and personal. From Britain and Scandinavia to Italy and Tanzania, she tackled inequality wherever she saw it, establishing an inspiring legacy in the Women's lib and Black Power movements. Plagued by questions of her heritage and the inability to locate all pieces of herself, she embarks on a journey to Ghana to find the father who may have the answers.

A tale of love, comradeship, and identity crises, Esua's rise to the first Black woman president of Leicester University Students' Union and Queen Mother of her village, is inspiring, honest, and full of heart.
