Carlo Ancelotti has won the UEFA Men's Coach of the Year award after leading Real Madrid to a La Liga and Champions League double last season.
The legendary Italian returned to the Santiago Bernabeu following an 18-month stint with Everton, and though there was relatively little fanfare at the start of his second reign, he proved all doubters wrong as Los Blancos won the two biggest prizes on offer to them as well as the Supercopa de Espana.
Ancelotti ousted competition from Manchester City's Pep Guardiola and Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp to take home the prize.
Real Madrid were crowned champions of Europe for a record 14th time after a gutsy 1-0 win over Liverpool in Paris back in May. Along the way, they eliminated PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City all in remarkable fashion, knocking each side out in increasingly dramatic ways and cementing their legacy as the kings of the continent.
Ancelotti became the first manager in history to win all of Europe's top five leagues after he failed to win La Liga in his first stint at Real Madrid. Los Blancos won the title by an emphatic 13 points, wrestling the Spanish crown back from city rivals Atletico Madrid.
It was also Ancelotti's first league triumph since he won the 2016/17 Bundesliga with Bayern Munich.
