Notes & Action Items from our 1/23/2021 Conference Call

Team members on the Blaqsbi Citi project meet on a video conference once a week, our initial call was held the 1st week in June.

WE REALLY NEED OUR CORE TEAM MEMBERS ON THE CALL’S!                             *Details below on why you’re needed on the call (To discuss direction focus). We will re-evaluate and re-structure the core group this year.

Notes are taken each week to address action items we’ve completed and to outline action items to be completed. See what we have accomplished up to this point.

Here is the initial post that started the project.

We provide an open format where all ideas are discussed and decisions are made on consensus as we need everyone’s input for our project to be successful. Respect others on the call as we are all here for the same purpose.

Project name: Blaqsbi Citi        Corporation Name: Ubuntu Community Builders

Task Completed:

  1. Mission Statement,
  2. Creation of HUDDLE,
  3. Press Release
  4. Biographies (of initial core group),
  5. Uploaded Information on Creating a Charter
  6. Developed relationship with Freedom Nation (Faruq Hunter) and working on how the organizations can help each obtain their goals.
  7. Initial Core Members (Team still being assembled) - André, Dimitry, Reg, Queen, Maxwell and Tycer all have LLC’s and TIN numbers. Core Members are being restructured.
  8. Video Clips & Pictures have been sent for the Call to Action Video (in development)

Our weekly calls are every Saturday @ 1pm CST (2pm EST).

Although we started this project in one direction, meaning structuring documentation and a plan before seeking funding.

We spoke with Freedom Georgia, specifically Ashley Scott and discussed how she and her group went about acquiring their land and we discovered 38 people (19 couples) got together and invested approximately $7,000 per family to secure their 96 acres (with plans to expand and acquire more land)..

Cost of the land was approximately $1,800 to $2,000 per acre.

*So after this Conference Call on 9/26, we are considering changing our projects focus from structuring documentation and finalizing a plan to identifying the land, setting an investment price and return percentages and then secure the land. Then address the planning after the fact 🤔

Below is a summary of action items that are ongoing and still require completion:

  1. Ongoing: Create a C - Corporation - Need 4 more key members. [Team]
  2. Ongoing: Create an assign Board & create an Advisory Board. [Team]
  3. C - Corporation Members must have LLC’s
  4. Ongoing: Fine Tune and finalize the Confidentiality or Non-Disclosure document, parties need to be specified and it must be fine tuned for this specific purpose. [Team]
  5. Ongoing: Members need to finalize the Land & Site Selection Criteria document. In addition to the rankings on the sheet, we need to add search for unincorporated counties, decreasing populations, poor counties and counties with the majority black people. The objective is to bring value to the area and have support from its residents and hopefully surrounding counties.
  6. Ongoing: The selection of State & Land Criteria document is being correlated by Dimitry for final approval to begin submitting land to target for purchase. [A.H.]
  7. Ongoing: The City Charter document is still in need of a team member with experience in City Management & Planning [A.H.] [Team]
  8. Ongoing: Reach out to Jamaal to assist in the Video for the Call to Action video which is to be added to the post stuck at the top of our HUDDLE once completed. [ Team]
  9. Ongoing: Call to Action Video is being edited by Dimitry. [Team]
  10. Each team member to be on a call to discuss refocusing our efforts on how to proceed with the project?!  [Team]
  11. FOCUS ON RECRUITMENT; WE ARE STILL IN NEED OF ADDITIONAL CORE MEMBERS IN THE AREAS OF BANKING & FINANCE, CITY MANAGEMENT & PLANNING as well as ARCHITECTURE & CONSTRUCTION.         The objective is to complete the search by the end of the year[Team]
  12. Ongoing: Seek to be a part of the Global Eco Village Network which has U.N. Representation.

The Projects objective is still the same... How we get there is up for discussion.

Today we discussed the change of direction spoke of above as it relates to focusing on the land, but more importantly we discussed avenues to move forward and the different ways to get there.

The current direction is to locate to land we want to acquire which would include the immediate development area as well as expansion areas. Understanding we must have key things in the project to be successful & sustainable; we must have our own city government, security, healthcare, banking, education and food.

And being that FOOD is a key factor, the thought is to initially create a Farmers Market to export crops and generate revenue. This also in addition to the land adds another commodity to generate income. Our options are to start with one of the key elements... Why not start with food.

🪴A FARMERS MARKET HAS THE BEST RETURN POTENTIAL BASED ON CAPITAL EXPENDITURE versus RETURNS ON INVESTMENT 💵

We are discussing the best ways to purchase the land... Possibly a small group to invest and offer options to others, or make everyone part owners, we are not sure and open to discuss ways to finance the project, to attract people to it and to have those people commit to support the project.

We are still seeking key team members and we are still in the land selection process.

♻️PLEASE REVIEW THE ABOVE NOTES AND MAKE EDITS DOCUMENTS OR COMPLETE THE ACTION ITEMS AND BE PREPARED TO DISCUSS ON OUR NEXT VIDEO CONFERENCE CALL ON... January 30th, 2021 @ 1pm CST (2pm EST).
