take a good look at the picture accompanying this post!!!

*** i have had a great day today on Blaqsbi...i learned a few things and spoke on a few issues...the following is a reply that i posted to the picture and discussion posted by @medgarparks ... this is the last one out of several on the same post ... i entered into a discussion with @Warrrior ... i am not here to argue ... i am only stating the same issues that have been discussed for the last 2,500 years ***

@Tycer Greigh ,my brother, i never went off of topic. There is no such thing as a target audience when you are talking about unifying a population spread across the globe unless you specifically mean that particular audience. The original post shows a picture of how many countries divide the land mass we call Africa. Those countries don't have the same monetary systems let alone the same banks.

Take money out of the equation. Your target is people who do not know about steps 1-3 of your model. People who do not know about those steps are usually the same ones who will question you about "what is the bank doing with my money"...the same people who will be slow to move and invest unless they see something tangible now or the near future.

You suggest making lotions or other products. Great! I talk to people about becoming entrepreneurs and working from home. I talk to people about how to turn their product or service into something lucrative with zero or minimal spending required. If you read my comments fully, you would not think that we are so different.

You never know what type of intellect you will meet in any given circumstance. I asked you about percentages on interest because I want you to be aware (and anyone else reading this) that any bank is based on the national market first and then global. Do we have any Black Owned banks that are involved in African currency markets? Singapore? Sweden? Japan? Hong Kong? United Kingdom?

We need to have them in place because those are the same monetary markets who own ALL of the resources in Africa, Asia, and Australia. Currently, the United States are having problems in Central and South America because the governments there do not want to hand over the oil reserves in the Caribbean.

Where are the Black owned cargo ships, mail carriers/messengers, Telecommunications, Technology Companies, Industrial Construction Contractors, Automobile Factories, Textile Manufacturers, Insurers, Labor Unions...???
* Where is Marcus Garvey, Malcolm X, and Martin Luther King, Jr? I think all three of them were taking a stance for us to invest and build within our communities. I think that is why they were removed from life's existence.

The real question is what can we do as a people to live without using a dollar bill as a means of exchange. We can't unify ourselves with a system that is already bankrupt.
(3 Black men payed the debt for payroll to all soldiers/veterans after the American Revolution in 1776 under the original Articles of Confederation pre-dating the US Constitution...do you want to bail out all of the banks once we establish a foothold by pooling our sources? that is what will happen...the American banking system is not ran by the Federal Government. Taxes are deferred to England directly to the Royal Crown's treasury. From there, it goes to Rome.)

I mentioned Takaful because that system is how an organization builds Trust funds. It is similar to a Community Chest. The difference is that it is protected by Shariah law. Takaful also is in effect on a global scale. If I sell you insurance in America from an American company, you are only protected in America, America's provinces, and within American emabassies.

An insurance policy can draw more financial gain than a savings account. The same can be said for an investment portfolio. In Takaful, there is no consideration of risk or gamble. Investments are made based on how it will positively effect Community Organizations. Feed the Poor, Clothe and Shelter Orphans, assist Widows are the types of agencies that would receive investments. Those who are registered as 501C(3) status (non-profit) falls into this group in US of America.

We need to redefine what is necessary, what is valuable, and what is frivolous. We can't help self or the next person if we are still pushing for a regime that is not our nature. Capitalism enslaves anyone who does not own part and parcel of the Corportate Commodities Monopoly.

We cannot unify ourselves using someone else's brand, currency, psychology, ethics, or assumed property. That is what they did to us. On the sweat of our ancestors backs as well as today. The elephant is still in the room and is steadily vanishing as an endangered species. A dollar bill is an I.O.U. whether it is printed on paper or if it is credited on a piece of plastic with a magnetic strip. It is not real.

Hunger is real. We can make farms and community gardens. Poverty is real. We can clothe ourselves. We can band together to provide homes and fill them with furnishings crafted from our own hands. Lack of knowledge is real. We can inform our people without creating a system that causes an individual to go into $30k in debt for a job/career that only nets $15-20k per year.

We can't talk melanin pride and forsake the real issues just to chase portraits of dead presidents. Holiday sales boycott....really? Why do we need them to tell us when to celebrate or buy anything?

When we wake up in the morning, are we praying for a safe passage to and from work? or are we praying that we can be the best possible servant in our capacities as the creation striving to please the Almighty Creator? #Allahuakbar #alhamdulillah #tamazih #iamblackmedia #highestheights #consultingedge #Blaqsbi

"Disorientation - Being Black In The World"

Inspired by the essays of James Baldwin, in which the personal becomes the gateway to larger ideas, Williams explores such things as the unmistakable moment when a child realizes they are Black; the ten characteristics of institutional whiteness; how friendship forms a bulwark against being a target of racism; the meaning and uses of a Black person's smile; and blame culture—or how do we make meaningful change when no one feels responsible for the systemic structures of the past.
