Corruption in Nigeria.

Even the Nigerian government wants in on the fun.
More and more embezzlement. I am not surprised. (Look at the picture below)

How many billions of naira needed for evacuation again?.

Nigerians have to understand that the president doesn't print notes , every note printed is regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria following the qualities of money as governed by the laws of economics.

The Qualities of money are ;
Acceptable, portable, divisible, scarce, regular, durable, homogeneous.

The Nigerian government need an excuse to withdraw money from the bank, there need be a witness and the required costs are always hyped .
Wonder why we still have bad roads?

When the over hyped spending bill comes to the allocated state, the state government too take their cut off the Emblezzlement, also the local government, the contractors get much less than needed for road construction and repair, they end up pouring sand into the potholes and pocket what they can.

It rains and few months later the local government complains to the state government, who complains to the federal government who is more than eager to withdraw more than needed funds so that corruption may again prevail in the nation's chain of comand.

Nigeria calls itself the giant of Africa, no household gets electricity for 24 hrs without blinking. Many don't even get electricity for weeks, others get electricity for a maximum of 1 to 3 hrs in a day or whenever the electric company feels like.

And I'm not talking about people living in rural areas or those who don't pay their bills, I am talking about citizens living in the city and metropolitan areas as well . This is a general problem in Nigeria and has been for over 20 years.

They get electricity whenever and it gets taken away without any warning, yet Nigeria has a satellite in space, also has telecommunication companies...how the hell do they expect Nigerians to charge their phones.

This is intentional, the government wants to sell ten times the amount of fuel they do daily. Talk less of the daily exports of fuel to foreign countries and the numerous automobiles consuming fuel within the country. The government wants everyone to depend on fuel like you do on air and water.
Inorder to have constant electricity you need to buy a generator, most homes and businesses in Nigeria can't do without it, for the generators to work you need to buy fuel. Think of the many homes and businesses using generators right now.....The government still isn't satisfied.

Now Think of the air and noise pollution as well.

They didn't think, Constant electricity supply could increase productivity by 70 percent, you think on it , think of the number of hours you can spend getting stuff done with electricity , compare that to the number of hours waiting for electricity to come on or the cost of fuel to run the generator for a set number of hours, who can afford to put the generator on 24 hrs a day.

Poorer Nations in Africa have constant electricity, this is very shameful of Nigeria.

Very few people can afford to have solar electric panels set up at their residence, with that even set up one can only put on the light bulb or charge a phone, it isnt enough to power the refrigerator.

Just think of how much electrity is consumed by underground electric trains in parts of Asia, Europe and North America . Smfh

Nigerians, stop keeping quiet. Speak out, we need reforms. #herocks #lettherebelight #joinhandswithlikeminds #BlackPantherParty #hebrewisrealites #elephantintheroom #erauqsgnag #justiceleague #upnepa #9ja #newsnaija #Africa

"Black Enterprise"

Black Enterprise is a black-owned multimedia company. Since the 1970s, its flagship product Black Enterprise magazine has covered African-American businesses with a readership of 3.7 million.[2] The company was founded in 1970 by Earl G. Graves Sr. It publishes in both print and on digital, an annual listing of the largest African-American companies in the country, or "B.E. 100s", first compiled and published in 1973.[3][4] In 2002 the magazine launched a supplement targeting teens, Teenpreneur.[5] Black Enterprise also has two nationally syndicated television shows, Our World with Black Enterprise and Women of Power.

The magazine was founded by Earl G. Graves Sr.[6] In January 2006, he named his eldest son, Earl G. Graves Jr. (known as "Butch"), the company's chief executive officer.[7] Butch joined the company in 1988 after earning his M.B.A. from Harvard University; he received his bachelor's degree in economics from Yale University in 1984. He also sits on the board of directors of AutoZone, serving as lead director and chairman of the compensation committee.

Black Enterprise has been profitable since its 10th issue. The company, headquartered in New York City, has 58 employees and had revenues of $22 million in 2017.[citation needed]
