What you weren't told about SATURN
I expect the readers of this post to at least have had a prior knowledge of what the planet Saturn is, where it is located in the milky way, the fact that it has a ring of debris around it and has many moons .
Also Note: Astronauts have sent robots to Mars, Saturn as well. It takes about 9 months to get to Mars and 8 years to get to Saturn.
Before going deep into Saturn here are things most Scientists don't know yet about Mars:
There was a civilization on there once by millions of green looking beings who walk on two feet with a 3 dimensional perspective like humans, they do not exceed 3 feet in height, they speak/communicate in transverse sound waves.
Mars has known several wars that lasted millions if not billions of years, there was a nuke or biological weapon that destroyed the entire planet. A civilization of Martians is said to exist today hundreds of thousands of feet below the surface of Mars, found a way to live and thrive in a contained environment.
Most space agencies keep reporting a loss of signal from either the robot or the camera mounted on the Mars Rover: here's my take #HISTAKE : Mars knows many daily sand storms, rocks or debris could easily knock out the camera or damage the Mars rovers . They need to build better ones that can withstand conditions like that, they need to be heavier too as well as getting the robotics team to create an adaptive and defensive mechanism where when in the face of a storm, like a turtle or armadillo, the rovers could curl up into an indestructible hard shell.
Now back to Saturn.
Saturn is indeed one of most interesting planets in our milky way. Despite it being bigger than earth and farther out on its axis around the sun, its days are much faster than than of earth. A day on Saturn is about 10 hrs. But not its years , it takes 29 earth years to make a year on Saturn. This is because Saturn spins faster than earth plus it has more moons giving different parts of the planet shade from the sun thereby quickening night and day. However Its revolution around the sun is slower. therefore the change in climates on the planet can be influenced mainly due to the frequent changes in night and day, while the difference in time could be caused by its revolution around the sun. The big question is, if at all we could live on Saturn, could the factors explained above make humans age less or is it all about perspective like the different time zones on the planet earth, different clocks but the same time. This is a mystery when it concerns interplanetary time zones.
Like our ozone layer, Saturn has many gates, or defensive shields, not only the moons that revolve around it, but the debris also that form a ring around it.
We do not know if there is oxygen in Saturn as of yet as atmospheric components is only what most Scientists study and measure before coming to their conclusions of Saturn. Let me ask you a question, how much oxygen is in the earth's thermosphere?. Probably only 20 percent oxygen, 80 percent nitrogen. Talk less of the exosphere which has lots of hydrogen and helium making it impossible for humans to breathe.
Now picture Saturn, not only is it bigger than Earth, it is quite dense too, its got more room on it than Earth. it's factual to say you can fit 700 earths into Saturn. With that said, perhaps the journey from their exosphere to troposphere(using the earth's terminologies)might take 700 times longer than the distance on earth .
When we send a robot into Saturn's atmosphere and then lose signal after it descends, we think , there is nothing back down there. What if the inhabitants of Saturn also cannot leave their planet due to an unreachable height and unfavorable weather conditions that also help further shield the planet.
There might be oxygen at the base, remember just like on earth it doesn't rain above the clouds. If at all there isn't any oxygen at the base, it might mean there truly are no life forms or the life forms have adaptive features to live in that habitat , being able to breathe hydrogen or helium..but...the fact that hydrogen is in the air increases the possibilities of oxygen at the base . We do not know what dimensions the beings on there would have and what dimensions their perspectives too would be or how they would communicate.
Remember time is slower on Saturn, it also has more than 80 moons. Meaning different shades, atmosphere and weather also different sights in their view of their sky ...let us remember the moon is one of the reasons we have night , it blocks each portion of the earth for few a few hours until it makes its circumference around the earth, the shadow it casts blocks the sunlight and reveals the dark space around the earth, now imagine if earth had 80 moons ....let us also remember it gets colder at night on earth.
Back to Mars, a study of the two moons that circumvent the planet could help astronauts better understand what varying weather conditions are expected on Mars
So don't Quit on Saturn .
