One Night In Miami
Prime Video: One Night in Miami... | Official Trailer

Great movie. Must watch #movies

My lady suggested we watch this movie a few days ago and as usual I wasn't with it at first. ( I hate the same old futile emotional tug that these stories induce) However, it was inspirational and reiterates the need to "fight the power" 24/7. One individual that has puzzled me for a few years is Jim Brown. Being a student of the Minds of men I have often wondered about his thinking. As most people may know he is a Republican and has openly supported Trump.

Is he an agent? I don't think so.

I think he is like most of us who achieve a certain level of personal liberty and believe that money is the key to freedom. Those who don't have money will always complain until we get our slice of the Pie. Then we will forget about all this racism ish. If I'm wrong about Jim Brown please respond and let me know

"Blackgirl on Mars"

As she travels across the US during the Black Lives Matter protests and Covid-19 pandemic and then to Trinidad and Tobago to attend the funeral of her grandmother, Brown tells her own life-story, as well as writing about race, gender, sexuality, and education, and ideas of home, family and healing.
Both a radical political manifesto and a moving memoir about finding your place in the world, Blackgirl on Mars is about what it means to be a Black and Indigenous woman in Europe and the Americas in the twenty-first century.

Blaqsbi is Permanently Shutting Down - June 14, 2024

It has been more than a six(6) year effort to build and maintain a platform where black people can be proud to call home. We are sad to announce that due to lack of interest from the black community this effort will soon end.

On Friday, June 14, 2024 at 8:00 PM EST the Blaqsbi platform will end its services permanently.

Polls

In light of the fact that Racial Trauma in the forms of Transmitted Traumatic Stressors, Vicarious Traumatic Stressors, Direct Traumatic Stressors, Systemic Racism, and Individual Racism are all valid clinical stressors on the African community, DO YOU BELIEVE that African people should make it a priority to 1) Build monuments to memorialize and honor our ancestors while also asserting a true narrative of resistance and 2) Actively work to develop the framework, tools, and strategy to heal masses of African people across the diaspora?
