This book is dedicated to my grandmother, Agatha Swaby Miller, also known as “Miss Etta”. She was the woman who practically saved my life, raising me with an iron fist and a no-nonsense approach. Despite this, I loved her for her compassion and dedication in taking on the task given to her by my mother without reservation. She may not have been the type to hug and kiss, but her love for me was undeniable. Her advice to work hard and dream big has always stuck with me, and for that, I admire and respect her. Rest in peace, Grandma. May your love continue to abound.
