Here's a short, sweet poem about Africa.

Africa, a drumbeat in the earth,
Sunrise wrapped in ancient gold,
Braids of rivers, streets of red,
Stories elders softly told.

She laughs in markets, loud and bright,
She prays in songs at break of day,
Her children carry stars within,
A thousand futures on the way.

From desert dunes to ocean’s blue,
From village fire to city light,
Africa, a living poem—
Black and beautiful, burning bright.
