My Thought For Fathers Day 2026

By Thomas Tyrone

We the people of the world need to step up and keep it real with each other. There are no Palestinian, Lebanese, African, Colombian, American, Cuban, or any country problems other than the so-called leaders. As they say, guns don’t kill people... people kill people. But if we trace back everything that has led up to war, poverty, inequality, domestic instability, hunger, civil unrest, protests, and many other societal ills, you will find that the few people—and sometimes a single person—at the top are responsible for it all.
The making of bad decisions, bad policies, and the refusal to reverse course when we clearly see the wrong and harm being done is at the root of our suffering. Putting a stop to greed, corruption, and exploitation must be our priority. We have been stuck in this vicious cycle of inhumanity, societal and planetary destruction, and unnecessary human suffering for far too long.
The questions we must ask ourselves are: Why? And what is the end game of it all?
Why is money, material things, and temporary, illusionary power more important than the life of another human being? When will we get smart enough to finally say to ourselves and every other person that enough is enough, and let’s do different from this second going forward?

The Illusion of Division

For decades, I have worked on initiatives to economically empower less financially fortunate people in America and Africa. Through this journey, I have learned that the greatest tool of oppression is division. By labeling struggles as national or ethnic issues, those in power keep us fighting each other rather than uniting against the source of our pain: systems designed to extract value from the many for the benefit of the few.
As a father, a senior citizen, and a man who is rebuilding his life after losing significant gains due to mismanagement and lack of long-term planning, I see now that legacy is not about what you accumulate, but what you liberate.

Reclaiming Our Humanity

My work with Blaqsbi.com and Cashback Invest Global is not just about business; it is about reclaiming our humanity. We are building African-centered ecosystems where economic, cultural, and spiritual value remains within the community. We are moving away from traditional welfare models toward self-sustaining economic models—collectively owned affordable housing, farms, businesses, and investment capital for Black and African startups.
We believe that Africa is not "emerging," but remembering. And when Africa fully awakens to its power, its heritage, and its role as the cradle of civilization, the world will rise. But this awakening must be rooted in Africa, for Africa, and for the global Black community, because historical systems in America and other Countries were not designed to protect humanity or benefit us.

The Role of Fathers and Leaders

On this Father’s Day, I reflect on what it means to lead. True leadership is not about holding power over others; it is about empowering others to stand on their own. It is about teaching our children to know their ancestors, protect each other as our brothers and sisters keepers, honor their parents, reclaim our dignity, and build something lasting and meaningful on our own land.
I have seen how deceptive advertising and dishonest commerce poison our minds. I have seen how mainstream platforms exploit Black creativity and data while silencing our voices. That is why we build secure, private digital spaces like Blaqsbi.com—so that our conversations, our strategies, and our dreams are safe from adversaries who seek to co-opt or destroy them.

Doing Different

We must reject the narrative that material wealth, fame, or status equals fulfillment. True fulfillment is found in dignity, community, purpose, and contribution.
To my fellow fathers, brothers, and leaders:
  • Stop accepting the illusion of division. See the common enemy: greed and exploitation.
  • Build ownership. Liberation begins with owning our homes, our businesses, our data, and our economies.
  • Teach legacy. Show the next generation that unity and brotherly love are stronger than self-preservation and fear.
  • Act now. Do not wait for permission. Do not wait for leaders to change. Be the change.
Enough is enough. Let us do different, starting this second. Let us build infrastructure for liberation that enables diverse individuals to thrive on their own terms. Let us raise our children to be investors in the building of Africa and its economy, not just consumers of its exploitation.
This Father’s Day, let us commit to leaving a legacy of economic sovereignty, cultural pride, and unapologetic love for our people.
