Kongo, The richest land on earth, with the poorest people Deep beneath it's soil lies treasure beyond measure. Gold, diamonds, cobalt enough to power empires, Yet it's people live in poverty. Congo is called the richest poor nation, rich in minerals, poor and wealth rich, and forests, poor in protection, rich and rivers, poor in power, The wealth never stays. For centuries outsiders came to take King Leopold, rubber, colonial copper, corporate cobalt. The world's future is built on Congo's past wounds. Cobalt fuels your phone, coal town powers or play station Mined by children Two dollars a day, The Congo Basin, Earth's second long cut and sold, The world takes. Congo bleeds. The land that powers the future cannot power. It's own homes, cities go dark, hospitals without medicine, children without schools, A kingdom of riches locked in poverty. The pattern never changes. Extract export profit elsewhere. The real curse isn't the minerals, It's the system. Wealth flows out, Suffering stays in. They call it the land of forgotten riches. But what if the world remembered ? The question isn't what Congo It gives the world, It's what the world will give back. The choice is ours, all of ours, Shah relieve, Inspire blacks be.
