In an effort to support Black communities, Aaliyah Alicia Thompson, along with sisters Aniah and Anijah Byrd, decided to host a community event on November 23, 2025. The event will take place at 184 North Ave in Jonesboro, GA 30236, from 2pm to 6pm. The school aims to provide more opportunities for Black individuals in the nail and cosmetology industry by offering a platform for community engagement.

The School and Their Vision

Aaliyah Alicia Thompson is the owner of this uniquely designed nail school. With sisters Aniah and Anijah Byrd, they opened their practice with the mission to support Black communities in the industry. Their goal is to create an inclusive environment that encourages Black individuals to thrive in their craft.

The Event Details

On November 23, attendees will receive $35 gift certificates worth $3.50 each. These certificates offer a variety of items, including nail polish, make-up, lipsticks, hair accessories, and beauty tools. Families can choose from different packages, ensuring they have options for personal or beauty gifts.
