About The Blaqsbi Bootstrapping Exchange
Mission: We are a space for bootstrapping and unfunded startups to connect with the developers, creatives, and businesses willing to help them build. We believe in Group Economics—if we don't have the funding yet, we build it with the resources, skills, and community we do have.
This is not a charity. This is an exchange. Startups get built, and Contributors get equity, portfolio experience, or barter services.
The Rules of Engagement
To keep this ecosystem healthy and productive, all members must adhere to the following guidelines:
1. For Startups (The Builders)
No "Low Effort" Posts: Do not just post "I need a website." You must sell your vision.
Use the Pitch Template: All project requests must use the standardized template.
Offer Value: Since you cannot offer a full salary yet, you must clearly state what you can offer (e.g., Equity %, Deferred Payment, Service Swapping, Mentorship, Portfolio Credit).
Be Responsive: If someone offers help, reply within 48 hours.
2. For Contributors (The Village)
Honesty on Capacity: Only offer help if you actually have the time. It is better to offer 2 hours of high-quality work than 20 hours of "ghosting."
Respect the Hustle: Constructive criticism is welcome; discouragement is not.
Deliver or Communicate: If you can no longer help, simply communicate that. Transparency is key.
3. General Community Conduct
Zero Spam: No affiliate links, crypto-schemes, or unrelated advertisements.
Safety First: Vetting is your responsibility. We recommend having a clear agreement (or contract) in place before work begins. This Huddle connects people; we do not mediate legal disputes.
Tip with B-Munt: If someone gives you great advice or helps you out, show love by tipping them B-Munt!
