MY MUM'S PASTOR DOES SPECIAL PRAYERS FOR ME — HE SAID HIS MANH00D IS ANOINTED

7

Meanwhile, in another corner of the church, Deborah sat quietly beside her mother, Mrs. Rachel. Her heart was heavy, and her mind was clouded with despair.

Each Sunday was becoming harder for her to endure. She glanced at her mother, who was singing and clapping enthusiastically, completely immersed in the service.

Deborah wanted to tell her everything, to finally reveal the horrible secret she had been carrying, but every time she tried, her mother dismissed her, unwilling to hear anything negative about Daddy Possibilities.

Deborah's thoughts drifted to the countless times she had been summoned to his office under the guise of "special prayers." The pain, the shame, and the fear still haunted her.

She wanted to scream, to cry, to make someone listen, but who would believe her? Her eyes scanned the congregation.

Everyone adored Daddy Possibilities; he was untouchable, revered like a saint. She felt trapped, a prisoner in a world where her voice didn't matter.

During the prophetic session, Daddy Possibilities called out another woman in the crowd, delivering a detailed prophecy about her troubled marriage.

The woman burst into tears, confirming everything he said. The crowd cheered, shouting praises to God for using Daddy Possibilities so powerfully.

Deborah felt a pang of anger mixed with despair. How can they not see the truth? she thought bitterly. How can they not see what he really is?

As the service continued, Deborah tried to hold back her tears. She bowed her head, silently praying for strength. If no one else would listen, perhaps God would.

In their seats, Kunle noticed Deborah's demeanor. She looked withdrawn, her shoulders slumped, and her gaze fixed on the floor. "Tola," he whispered to his wife, "look at that girl over there. She doesn't look okay."

Tola followed his gaze and saw Deborah. "Oh, that's Mrs. Rachel's daughter. Maybe she's just shy. What's your point, Kunle?"

"I don't know," Kunle admitted. "I just feel like something isn't right."

Tola shook her head, dismissing his concerns. "Kunle, you're reading too much into everything. Let's focus on the service."

Kunle sighed, leaning back in his seat. The feeling of unease remained, stronger than ever.

The service had ended, and the church emptied out as families returned to their homes. At the Ado household, Kunle and Tola discussed the day's sermon while their children played.

Meanwhile, at the Rachel residence, silence hung over the house. Deborah had retreated to her room immediately after they arrived, her heart heavy and her spirit broken.
