🌹 Women of Africa Movement (WAM) Condolence Message In Loving Memory of Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings (1948 – 2025) The Women of Africa Movement (WAM) joins the people of Ghana, the African continent, and the global community in mourning the passing of Her Excellency Nana Konadu Agyeman-Rawlings, a trailblazer whose courage, grace, and vision reshaped the landscape of women’s empowerment in Africa. As Ghana’s First Lady and lifelong advocate for gender equality, she dedicated her life to advancing women’s rights, strengthening community development, and nurturing leadership among young women. Her pioneering role in the establishment of the 31st December Women’s Movement remains a shining example of what determined African women can achieve when united by purpose. We remember her as a mother of the African women’s movement, a symbol of strength, and a voice of transformation whose legacy will continue to inspire generations. May her spirit rest in eternal peace, and may her vision of a just and empowered Africa live on through every woman she inspired. 🕊️ Issued by the Women of Africa Movement (WAM) Dr. E.K. Gordon-Dudu Global Coordinator
