A disturbing case of child abuse has been reported at Beach Market, Calabar South today.
An Efik man Mr. Ntiero allegedly beat his daughter severely, leaving the child in a critical condition, simply because she could not find an item he asked her to keep.
This act is inhumane, criminal, and unacceptable. No child deserves violence under any circumstance. Discipline must never turn into brutality.
