BISI THE FOODIE Chapter 4 Mrs Bola goes to an herbalist Mrs Bola went to an herbalist in her village. He was a renowned herbalist in her village. When she got to him, she knew that going to an herbalist was against her religion, but she could do anything now to protect herself and her family. Herbalist: What do you want my dear? Mrs Bola: I... Herbalist: Silence. You came here to ask for protection. Isn't that right my dear? Mrs Bola: Yes sir Herbalist: Consider all your problems solved. Then he chanted some incantations and gave a little smile and suddenly a black Calabash appeared in his hand. Then he took out a red cloth containing some items. Herbalist: Take this Mrs Bola: What is this? Herbalist: Open it and see Then Mrs Bola opened it and saw different items such as a red soap, a red gown, a red shoe and some red skirts. Mrs Bola: What are these? Herbalist: You and your family must use the red soap to bathe every day and night before going out or before going to bed. You must wear this red gown for seven straight days without changing it. Your son must wear this shoe everytime he's going out and your daughters must wear these skirts anytime they are going out. And protection would be given to you and your family. Mrs Bola: Thank you sir! I am very grateful Herbalist: If anyone does not do any of these things, the person would be out of the protection. Be wise. And one more thing, a until the news of the kidnappers die down, you and your family must not stop using the soap but after seven days, the clothes don't need to be worn again but the soap must be used. Mrs Bola: Yes sir Then Mrs Bola went back home. When she was asked where she went, she lied that she went to the supermarket. She did as the herbalist said. Everyone used the soap like a normal one and wore the clothes she brought for them. But, she never told them where it came from. She kept on telling them that she bought it from the supermarket. The protection charm was working and to ensure that it stays like that, she always escorted her children to their rooms and wait there,so as to see that they took a bath. She became rest assured because there was no other soap in the house. She was very happy. Watch out for chapter 5 #Loveforfood
