Killing more than 60,000 civilians including women and children is shameful. Deliberately starving the Gazan population is shameful, claiming territories that is not yours is shameful. Stopping independent journalist to cover the events of your atrocities in Gaza is shameful. What is also shameful is the role Britain played in all of this. Between 1915 and 1917, the British promised Palestine to 3 different groups, just like they did in Nigeria and Africa at large. They promised it to the Arabs if they fight with the British army against the Turks. Then they promised it to the French when they negotiated Sykes-Picot treaty, then they said Palestine is actually the Jewish homeland in the Balfour declaration of 1917. It's worse than a land owner in Lagos selling the same piece of land to 3 different buyers. This is a territory that doesn’t even belong to the British, and now won’t recognise the statehood of Palestine who are the real owner of the land.
