It is time we take off the gloves and hit this issue straight in the eyes: Far too many of us spend 3 or more hours every day on white owned social media platforms marveling at things they will never experience, be part of and are not welcomed to participate in. What's even more disturbing is that a majority of the content they interact with is originated from black people and black culture. What bothers me most is we won't take 10 minutes to engage with a quality black-owned social media platform with mission to uplift and bringing social, economic and political empowerment to us, our families and future generations.
