*MAJU* Episode three
The morning sun peeked through my bedroom window, i groaned as i rolled over, my head pounding from the alcohol i had consumed the night before. I swore to myself that i would never drink that much again.
But then i heard it. A loud commotion coming from my neighbor's house. I could hear their screams and cries echoing through the quiet neighborhood.
I quickly got out of bed and stumbled towards my window, trying to see what was going on.
As i peered out, i saw my neighbors frantically running around, searching for something or someone.
I couldn't quite make out what they were saying, but their panicked expressions were enough to send a chill down my spine.
Without thinking, i threw on some clothes and ran out of my apartment, my head still throbbing from the alcohol.
I made my way towards the chaos, trying to figure out what was happening.
"Where is she?!" I heard one of my neighbors scream, tears streaming down her face. "She's gone!"
"Gone? What do you mean gone?" I asked, trying to catch my breath.
"She's missing," my neighbor replied, her voice breaking. "We can't find her anywhere."
I felt a knot form in my stomach as i realized the gravity of the situation. Someone was missing. And it was someone from our own compound.
Just then, Rev. sister walked out of her apartment, her eyes red and puffy from crying. She saw me and immediately rushed over, collapsing into my arms. "She's gone, she's gone," she cried.
I couldn't help but feel suspicious of Rev. sister. I had seen her with a strange woman last night, and now our neighbor was missing. It couldn't just be a coincidence.
But before i could voice my suspicions, Rev. sister suddenly stopped crying and started thrashing around on the ground. "No, no, no!" she wailed, her body contorting in agony.
I watched in shock as she rolled around, screaming and crying. Was she in so much pain that she couldn't control herself?
Just then, i remembered the strange woman from last night. Could she be the one responsible for our missing neighbor ? “No, Mara, she’s a holy lady” I muttered to myself.
As my head continued to ache and my thoughts raced, i couldn't help but wonder if the missing neighbor and the strange woman were somehow connected. And if so, what was their motive? And would we ever find our neighbor alive?
Morning had come, but it had only brought more chaos and confusion. And as i stood there, surrounded by my crying neighbors and thrashing Rev. sister, i couldn't shake off the feeling that something sinister was going on.
