"Kenneth Okonkwo is one of those legends that make old Nollywood look new and funky again. I grew up watching him in Living in Bondage and many other movies. He always acted like a real African king, strong and wise. I never thought one day I would act beside him.

When I went for the audition of Queen of Udi Hills, I was nervous. I didn’t think I would be picked. But guess what? Uncle Kenneth saw my audition and said, ‘That girl is the one.’ He believed in me even before others did.

He didn’t just act with me — he taught me how to carry myself, how to speak with power, and how to respect the culture in every scene.

That movie changed my life. And he was there for me, like a real mentor.

Today, I shine because a legend gave me light.

Thank you, Uncle Kenneth. I will never forget.”
