I need to get something off my chest, and I think a lot of you might feel the same way.
We're constantly bombarded with this idea that success = a big paycheck. If you hit your goals and get rich, you're "successful." But I have to be honest... I don't buy it anymore.
This mindset has us all chasing a finish line that keeps moving, often at the expense of our own happiness and mental health. We've forgotten that the most valuable things in life aren't things at all.
I've been thinking about what ✨ REAL ✨ success feels like. For me, it’s things like:
(1) Going to bed with a clear conscience.
(2) Overcoming obstacles that hinder my personal , physical, emotional or professional growth.
(3) Mending broken relationships or creating new ones that add value to my life.
(4) Helping someone else achieve their own goals.
(5) Understanding something new about myself.
(6) Making a choice that aligns with my values, even if it was the difficult one.
(7) Knowing I made someone's day or life a little bit better, by providing something they need.
Those are the kinds of successes that truly matters, the kind that fills you up inside.
It feels like these ideas of success has been lost, and it’s time we bring them back, loud and clear.
So I have to ask you... What does success mean to you, beyond money and job titles? I’d genuinely love to hear your thoughts in the comments. Let's create a new, better definition together.
