Meet Molara Ogundipe, a trailblazing Nigerian poet, critic, and academic. She was a pioneer in African feminist thought and made significant contributions to literary studies.

Ogundipe was the first Nigerian woman to earn a first-class degree in English from the University of Ibadan. She later earned a Ph.D. from Leiden University in the Netherlands.

Ogundipe introduced the concept of STIWA, which focuses on including women in Africa's social transformation.

Her influential writings explored themes of identity, gender, and cultural change. She taught at various institutions worldwide and founded an organization to empower young women through education and mentorship.

Molara Ogundipe's legacy continues to inspire through her groundbreaking work and advocacy for gender justice. #Myafrik
