Recording Artist John Forté Reported Dead At 50The music world is mourning the loss of a talented artist, as recording sensation John Forté has been reported dead at the age of 50. With a career spanning over two decades, Forté's contributions to the industry will be deeply missed.

A Life Cut Short
According to reports, Forté was discovered unresponsive in his home on Martha's Vineyard, with police officers and paramedics arriving at the scene around 2:25 p.m. on January 12th. Despite efforts to revive him, Forté was pronounced dead, leaving behind a wife and two children.

A Career of Resilience
Forté's journey in music began with his affiliation with the platinum-selling act The Fugees, where he appeared on their 1996 debut album, The Score. However, it was his time spent in prison that would later shape his career as a composer and scorer for various projects.
