đŸ”„ ⚓ THEY GAVE US “JESUS” AND TOOK OUR FREEDOM âš“đŸ”„

Few Africans are taught this uncomfortable truth.

The first English slave ship to sail to West Africa in 1562 was called The Jesus of LĂŒbeck.
Yes — “Jesus.”

It was captained by English trader John Hawkins, whose voyage marked England’s formal entry into the transatlantic slave trade. Africans were captured, chained, and shipped to the Caribbean under the name of the so-called “Savior of mankind.” When Hawkins returned, Queen Elizabeth I not only endorsed the mission — she invested in future voyages.

They prayed before departure.
They sang hymns while branding human beings.
They asked God for safe passage while decks overflowed with suffering.

Christian symbolism did not oppose slavery — it sanctified it.

The Bible arrived.
Freedom disappeared.
Churches were built.
Cultures were erased.
Sovereignty was renamed “sin.”

Centuries later, many still kneel before the same religious system that arrived hand-in-hand with chains, convinced it came to save rather than to dominate.

This is not an attack on a Supreme Creator.
It is an exposure of religion as a colonial technology of control.

đŸ”„ THE PAPER TRAIL THEY NEVER TEACH

This system was legalized long before the ships arrived.

In 1452, Pope Nicholas V issued the papal bull Dum Diversas, granting Christian rulers authority to
“invade, capture, vanquish, and subdue all Saracens and pagans
and reduce them to perpetual slavery.”

This was followed by Romanus Pontifex (1455), which expanded the doctrine, giving European Christians spiritual and legal permission to seize African lands and people.

The Church did not merely bless slavery — it institutionalized it.
Churches owned plantations.
Priests baptized enslaved Africans.
Crosses were raised over bodies in chains.

They preached “Jesus saves,” yet relied on guns, whips, and ships to enforce belief.
If salvation were divine, coercion would not be necessary.

Religion was never the Almighty.
Religion was the administration.

âœŠđŸŸ A MESSAGE TO BELIEVERS AND ATHEISTS

To believers:
The existence of a Supreme Creator does not belong to any church, Bible, mosque, or institution. No religion owns the Almighty.

To atheists:
Your rejection of religion does not invalidate the existence of a higher source of life, intelligence, or order. What you reject is control, not creation.

Our ancestors were not godless.
They were spiritually literate, cosmologically aware, and deeply connected to land, nature, and truth — long before missionaries arrived with contracts disguised as scriptures.

True liberation does not begin by burning books.
It begins by removing the chains from the mind.

Relearn.
Reclaim.
Reconnect.

Because the same system that enslaved us cannot be the source of our freedom.

📘 Recommended Reading: The Lost Yeshua

If you truly want to understand who Jesus was before empire, before Rome, before the church hierarchy, then this book is not optional — it is essential.

The Lost Yeshua strips away centuries of political editing, colonial theology, and institutional manipulation to expose how a revolutionary spiritual teacher was repackaged into a tool of obedience and control. It asks the questions the church avoids and follows the evidence history hides.

This is not an attack on the Almighty.
It is a challenge to the system that hijacked spiritual truth for power, slavery, and empire-building.

Inside, you will discover: ‱ How Jesus’ message was altered to serve rulers, not humanity
‱ Why obedience replaced liberation in church doctrine
‱ How African and Eastern spiritual truths were erased or demonized
‱ What the historical Yeshua actually taught — beyond fear, guilt, and submission

If you’ve ever felt something was missing

If you’ve ever questioned why faith demands silence instead of understanding

If you’ve ever wondered why truth feels dangerous to religious institutions

Then this book is for you.

📖 Get a copy of The Lost Yeshua and reclaim the story that was taken from you.
Truth does not fear investigation — only control does.

Written by Westgate Junior

This is not a post for comfort — it is a call to consciousness.

Read. Question. Unlearn.
Refuse inherited lies.
Stop outsourcing your mind to institutions that profit from your silence.

If this truth shook you, share it so another African wakes up.
If it angered you, study deeper — anger is often the first sign of awakening.
If it resonated, reclaim your history, your spirituality, and your sovereignty.

Religion was designed for control — the Almighty was not.
Break the mental chains. Teach the next generation truth, not fear. #Africa
âœŠđŸŸ The liberation of Africa begins in the mind. Wake up and rebuild.
