Mom woke up gradually, after the doctor had sedated her for the whole day, before she woke up in the evening. She scanned her eyes around and saw my dad lying beside her bed. Monica being in a coma, he wasn't even sure, the doctor wasn't sure if she would make it. The doctor has come in to examine Mom, as she was awake. Gave some injections and left her, as she was asked to rest.
"Where is my daughter, where is she, where is Monica and her children my darling. I want to see them, what happened to them and the last thing i remembered, was the doctor saying that she has twins..." My mom said in a low voice
My dad held her hand, his face was reddish and emotional. "Please my dear, I'm begging you to calm down so you wouldn't fall again, I'm begging you but for now, rest. And as for Monica, she will be fine because the doctor told me so already. But for the children, our grandchildren, that was what led you here. The doctor already told us we loss them, that they sustained severe injuries from womb then. I'm sorry my dear, but for our daughter, she's a strong lady. So I know she would pull through and come back to live for us..." My father said tearfully

You know what, I saw the babies and when I held them in my hands. They were so beautiful and so handsome, the girl looked like you and the boy look so much like me. I couldn't believe they were dêâd, and we will never have that chance anymore. A chance of being a grandparent, I didn't know what to do when they were burying them in the hospital cemetery.
