@-uefbe3579-aefd-45e5-baae-1320079f6472 Here are a few ways Blaqsbi could be "growing higher" or gaining more influence: 1. Rise in Black-Owned Businesses There's been a noticeable increase in Black entrepreneurship. Platforms like Black-owned marketplaces, social media campaigns (e.g., #BuyBlack), and organizations like The National Black Chamber of Commerce have created an environment where Black business owners are gaining more visibility and success. This is significant because economic empowerment is a core pillar of Blaqsbi’s mission. 2. Media Representation and Influence Black creators, artists, and producers are gaining more recognition. Shows like "Black Panther", "Insecure", and "Atlanta", as well as an increase in Black authors, musicians, and filmmakers, showcase the power of Black narratives. Blaqsbi includes the idea of Black people supporting and amplifying their own stories, something that’s becoming more common as the media landscape diversifies. 3. Grassroots and Political Movements The growth of social justice movements such as Black Lives Matter has also contributed to Blaqsbi’s rise. These movements continue to push for systemic change, not just in law enforcement but also in education, healthcare, and housing. The political awakening in various communities of color, and the calls for reparations and equity, fit right into the goals of Blaqsbi. 4. Cultural and Identity Pride There’s a stronger embrace of Black culture, both in the U.S. and internationally. Whether through the resurgence of Afrocentric fashion, Black beauty standards, or the recognition of important historical figures, Black Americans are reclaiming and redefining their identity. Blaqsbi encourages this celebration and pride. 5. Collaborations with Other Movements Many other communities of color are joining forces with Black Americans in solidarity, strengthening Blaqsbi’s cause. Allied movements—whether Indigenous rights, LGBTQ+ advocacy, or immigrant rights—are recognizing shared struggles and working together toward mutual progress. 6. Tech and Innovation Increasingly, Black Americans are also stepping into the tech and innovation spaces, like Silicon Valley, AI, and digital content creation. Initiatives like Black Girls Code, Black Tech Week, and BLCK VC are examples of how Black Americans are pushing into spaces traditionally dominated by others, creating tech solutions, and building companies that specifically address Black needs. 7. Financial and Institutional Support Major corporations, foundations, and even governments are being called to invest in Black communities. The response is seen in funding initiatives like The 15% Pledge, where companies commit to supporting Black-owned businesses, and in public commitments to diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) efforts.
